If you're heading out Sunday, you're in good shape. KSN's Storm Track 3 forecast has Wichita mostly cloudy with a high of 71 and a 10% chance of showers. Monday is the day to plan around.
A storm system may focus higher instability into south-central Kansas on Monday afternoon, and that's where KSN sees a chance of severe storms. KWCH said Friday that heavy rain looks likely and wind and hail can't be ruled out Monday. Wind-driven showers are possible Tuesday before things dry out Wednesday. KSN says Election Day gusts over 50 mph are possible, along with some lingering rain.
- Sunday night: breezy, 30% chance of showers and storms, low 61
- Monday: windy, 90% chance of showers and storms, high 74
- Tuesday: windy, 50% chance of showers and storms, high 63
- Wednesday: 10% chance of rain showers, high 64
Wichita's highs dip from 74 Monday to 63 Tuesday
