ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A trash fire broke out at CDR Landfill on 37th Street North Saturday afternoon as crews used 5,000 gallons of water and excavators (cause still unknown) to control the blaze with no injuries reported. KNSS
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks announced it will host First Day Hikes on Jan. 1 at select state parks to promote outdoor activity for local residents. The event will provide guided hikes — details are available on the agency website. KWCH
