  • At Wichita Veteran’s Memorial Park, a ceremony took place Sunday to honor Pearl Harbor veterans & share firsthand accounts including Lisa White’s recollection of her father’s service aboard the USS West Virginia.   • Boeing is expected to finalize its reacquisition of Spirit AeroSystems today, a move that could further bolster its aerospace operations in Wichita. The decision follows extensive strategic planning and signals a new chapter for local industry.  KWCH

  • Seven senators and one associate justice were appointed at Wednesday’s Student Government Association meeting. Decson Chairs (a music education major) now serves as associate justice, and senators including Takudzwa Nhamo and Caiden Berry received majority votes after nominations by Speaker Matthew Phan.  The Sunflower

  • Residents in the Crown Heights neighborhood are concerned about potential tree loss from a $37 million drainage project on Bleckley Drive that began in June. City officials will review the concerns at upcoming community meetings.  KAKE

  • Andover Central football coach Tom Audley was inducted into the Kansas Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame Sunday night + he built the program from the ground up.  KSN
  • Wichita State beat Northern Iowa 74 to 69 in overtime at the McLeod Center Saturday night as TJ Williams scored 18 points, including seven in overtime. The win improved the Shockers to a 6 to 4 record for the season.  KSN
