- ➤ Abode Bar & Bistro in Andover closed with no reason given and was located at 837 N. Andover Road—originally opening in April, its space may soon host a new concept. Wichita By E.B.
- ➤ The Kanopolis Drive-In cut its season short today after its 16-year-old projector broke, and owner Jessica Eagle said the theater must raise over $100,000 to replace it—community support has already raised thousands to help bring back the drive-in in 2026. KWCH
- ➤ KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot opened its new west side restaurant at 2243 N. Tyler Road after launching a year ago at Towne East Square, and it offers an interactive dining experience where guests cook their own meals using a tablet to order all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ & hot pot options. - ➤ On Sunday, Kansas Highway Patrol troopers in northeast Kansas stopped a vehicle for multiple violations while it was hauling large dinosaur figures — later a trooper in southeast Kansas spotted an Explorer with a green and yellow paint job like the ones seen in the movies at a gas station. KWCH
