- ➤ Wichita State announced that Grammy-winning artist Lupe Fiasco will perform at Shocker Madness on Oct. 4 at Charles Koch Arena, where doors open at 5 p.m. and free parking is available—reserved seating is set aside for university students and staff. KWCH
- ➤ Wichita’s Great Plains Transportation Museum is unloading an almost 100 year old train (built in 1928) from Maine for use at Rail Fest. The event is scheduled for Sept. 27 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and will offer train rides for families. KWCH
