ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A motorcyclist was critically injured in a single-vehicle crash at 37th Street N. and Webb Road—he lost control around 4:15 p.m. on Saturday—in northeast Wichita. KNSS
- ➤ Three people were injured in a motorcycle crash at Pawnee and Seneca Sunday evening — one suffered critical injuries while two others had minor injuries, according to Sedgwick County Dispatch. KSN
- ➤ On Saturday afternoon, a car crashed into Generations of Wichita — an antique and home décor shop south of Tyler Road — and the store has since reopened while the owners clean up the damage, grateful that no one was hurt. KSN
- ➤ A small bi-plane crashed at Stearman Field Airport in Benton when it landed too short of the runway and clipped the top of a car, flipping upside down; county communications confirmed no one was injured. KWCH
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Police responded to a shooting on the 700 block of N. Piatt Avenue—near Murdock Park—shortly before 3:55 p.m. Sunday and one person remained in extremely critical condition. KWCH
- ➤ The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting after a crash in Haysville early Sunday morning—officials report a man was found shot at the scene. KSN
- ➤ A 43-year-old Haysville man died from gunshot wounds after his vehicle crashed into a tree just before 3 a.m. near the 7700 block of S. Broadway following an automated alert from a mobile device— a female passenger suffered minor injuries. KNSS
