- ➤ Challengers regulatory coordinator Mackenzi Truelove and retired teacher Amy Jensen emerged from Tuesday’s Wichita school board primary — they will face incumbents board president Diane Albert and Kathy Bond — in the November election. Truelove earned 30% in District 1 while Jensen missed victory by just four votes in District 5 — a razor-thin margin — as voters prepare for Nov. 4. KMUW
- ➤ Tuesday, voters in USD 259 narrowed the school board races—advancing Diane Albert and Mackenzi Truelove in District 1 and Kathy Bond and Amy Jensen in District 5 to the November general election. KWCH
