- ➤ A statewide Silver Alert has been issued for Alan Denney, 75, a man with Alzheimer’s who was last seen near his Olathe home early Monday — anyone with sight of him should call 911 immediately. KWCH
- ➤ A 26-year-old man died from a gunshot wound during a shooting in west Wichita at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the 2700 block of W. 2nd. St. North — officers said the incident began after an altercation among a group and four other men left the area, leaving no suspect in custody. KNSS
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Local officials announced that downtown Wichita will begin paid parking this week as the city works to manage parking demand along main corridors. Drivers are advised to review updated rules (including meter rates and time limits) to avoid fines. KWCH
