- ➤ Shriners Children’s hosted a special Hospital Experience in Dodge City that brought together 17 young patients with football players, band members, and cheerleaders ahead of the Kansas Shrine Bowl — nearly 400 participants gained a firsthand look at the challenges kids face with prosthetic legs and wheelchairs. - ➤ The remains of U.S. Army Air Forces 1st Lt. Herbert G. Tennyson, 24, returned to Wichita Friday morning with a water cannon salute as his aircraft landed at Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport.
