- ➤ Kansas has a strong presence at the Paris Air Show as a Wichita delegation will use the event to draw new investment, partnerships, and high-tech jobs for the region. The group plans to promote local advanced manufacturing and recruit businesses to boost economic growth. KSN
- ➤ Kansas farmers are finalizing equipment checks and monitoring weather forecasts as the 2025 wheat harvest approaches. Second-generation farmer Austin Hiebert in Harvey County said rain (helping the crops but lowering prices) adds a challenge to timing the busy harvest season. KWCH

- ➤ Special education enrollment in Kansas public schools grew by 12,000 in the past decade to 82,000 students—this steady rise is straining teachers and prompting districts to boost recruitment efforts and offer higher pay. - ➤ Some blue catfish in Milford Lake look strange because they are almost white or black and white, and Kansas biologists report that 13.7% of the fish show these traits—experts will return later in June to study if genes or the lake's water are behind the changes. KSN
