- ➤ A grassfire in the 3900 block of N. Old Lawrence near 235 and north Broadway produced heavy white smoke today. Fire crews are working to control the blaze, which began at 11:30 a.m. and remains active as of 5:00 p.m. KWCH
- ➤ A household in west Wichita noticed vole activity damaging their lawn as the small mammals clip grass and create surface tunnels. Homeowners are advised (mow to six inches and clear debris) to reduce potential vole hiding spots. KWCH
- ➤ Kansas recorded its second-warmest winter on record with an average near 38 degrees and 1.66 inches of rainfall statewide, according to the state climatologist's office at Kansas State University. This winter was nearly five degrees warmer than the 1991-2020 average. KNSS

- ➤ Kansas lawmakers are reviewing Senate Bill 52 which would offer tax exemptions and credits to support film productions shot in state. The bill is in the House Committee on Taxation with recommended passage. KWCH
