- ➤ Dozens of letter carriers gathered Sunday at the intersection of Central & Rock in east Wichita to join a national movement opposing efforts to privatize the Postal Service. Local NALC representative Dustin Saville said potential changes could cut jobs & reduce delivery days that many rural communities rely on. KWCH
- ➤ Kansas Highway Patrol troopers received over $10,000 in power tools donated by Sedgwick County Sheriff Lt. Gill and local supporters — the tools will help them assist stranded drivers more quickly and safely. The donation was raised after a cold January day when a trooper aided the sheriff on Highway 400. - ➤ On Saturday, Sedgwick County Health Department offered a no-cost MMR vaccine at West Central Clinic for people 12 months and older amid a measles outbreak affecting nearby counties.
