- ➤ Reports from the coroner and toxicology tests show that a wrong-way driver caused a fatal head-on crash on K-96 in east Wichita in September that killed 31-year-old Randall Henrickson, his 11-year-old son and 48-year-old Amanda Fleming—tests revealed the driver had alcohol and drugs in her system while three others in a third vehicle suffered minor injuries. - ➤ Restaurants downtown are stocking up on food for the NCAA Tournament as thousands from across the country are expected to fill Wichita in the next few days—businesses near Intrust Bank Arena are ready to serve the surge. KSN

- ➤ Downtown Wichita is celebrating the 2025 NCAA Men’s Basketball Championships by turning storefronts into basketball-inspired art installations funded by a City of Wichita grant and on display from March 15 to April 7. Residents can also attend a free crafting workshop at Fan Fest (March 21 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.) followed by a public walking tour starting at 7 p.m. KWCH

- ➤ U.S. Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins announced the USDA will provide up to $10 billion in payments to agricultural producers to ease higher input costs and falling prices for the 2024 crop year—Farm Service Agency will start sending prefilled applications to eligible producers as the signup period opens today. - ➤ Royals, FanDuel Sports Network and Gray Media announced that 10 regular season games will be simulcast over-the-air on KWCH and KSCW—providing local fans free access when games are not on exclusive national broadcasts. The simulcasts include games on April 6th at 1:10 p.m. and May 26th at 3:10 p.m.—with additional dates set throughout 2025. KWCH
