- ➤ A mother is seeking answers after Amanda Vinardi, charged with child endangerment in connection with the death of her four month old son, walked out of a Wichita treatment center on March 4—police have issued a warrant as she remains at large. KWCH
- ➤ James Speer from Pawnee County was sentenced on Wednesday to life in prison without parole for raping an 8-year-old girl at a party — his prior convictions for child sex crimes led to his lifelong addition to the sex offender registry. KWCH
