- ➤ Melody McCray-Miller, a longtime member of the WPS Board of Education & a former state representative and Sedgwick County Commissioner, died on Feb. 22 at age 69. Her service influenced local education and government practices. KWCH

- ➤ A manufacturer announced an airbag recall on Feb. 22 after safety concerns emerged, and affected Wichita vehicle owners are advised to contact local dealers for inspection. KWCH
- ➤ Stellantis issued a stop driving notice for select 2003-2016 Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram vehicles because defective Takata airbags may explode; Wichita recall specialist Brian West is connecting owners with free mobile repairs. KWCH
