  • The Cheesecake Factory will open a new location at Bradley Fair in east Wichita in 2026. The restaurant will take over the former Outback Steakhouse location (a familiar dining spot) and offer more than 250 dishes and 30 desserts.  Wichita By E.B.

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • A winter storm over the weekend caused many flight delays and cancellations at Wichita's Eisenhower National Airport, leaving thousands stranded and travelers such as Drake Stephens missing important meetings. Airports nationwide experienced similar disruptions.  KWCH

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • After this weekend's snow, the Emergency Accident Reporting Plan remains in effect for Wichita, Derby, Maize, and unincorporated Sedgwick County to guide minor wreck reporting; drivers can swap contact and insurance details (if no injuries or substance issues) and file a report later.  KNSS
