- ➤ Choose Newton is holding a contest inviting 14 local artists to each design 4 playing cards featuring historic Newton landmarks — submissions from artists in Newton and Harvey County are accepted until Jan. 26, and the project is inspired by a similar Tacoma contest aimed at preserving local history.
