Learn to use the 80 watt CO2 laser cutters at MakeICT. We will discuss the capabilities of the machines, safety rules, and operation in flat mode. Participants will complete a small project using Inkscape and LightBurn software.
Intermediate computer proficiency is recommended. Users should be comfortable with web browsing, Windows file folder navigation, copy and paste shortcut keys, and mouse operation.
An advanced laser rotary class is offered the day prior, feel free to sign up for that class if you are planning on taking this class and want to learn about the rotary attachment as well.
