Workforce Development Presentation and WSU Tech Facility Tour

Join IFMA Wichita for an informative workforce development presentation and facility tour at WSU Tech’s Main Campus - NCAT, the National Center for Aviation Training.

Scott Lucas, VP Manufacturing and Workforce Solutions, will share how WSU Tech is helping prepare the next generation of skilled workers through education, industry partnerships, and hands-on training. Attendees will learn more about current workforce needs, available training programs, and opportunities to support and connect with future talent in our community.

Following the presentation, attendees will tour the facility with a focus on the welding areas. This is a great opportunity to see how technical education and real-world training environments are helping strengthen the regional workforce pipeline.

Whether you work in facility management, operations, construction, maintenance, education, or a related field, this program offers a closer look at how WSU Tech is connecting students, employers, and industry needs.
